American Personal Care Services started with an experience. The owners have actual personal experience in caregiving, needing someone to help care for our elderly.
“We saw within our eyes how our grandparents needed the care they needed when we could not be around to provide it due to our work schedule. It was a devastating feeling of not being able to help our loved ones. In due time, we found ourselves helping them out in their daily undertaking. The simple things that we used to do when we were younger, we were able to do it more efficiently. Cooking for them, helping with their daily activities and running errands. Soon thereafter, we found ourselves being asked by family friends to do the same for their grandparents. This was during the time of Covid when no one would dare go out. In hindsight, we saw the opportunity for us to use our own caregiving skills. We sacrificed our time and valued resources and were able to care for our loved ones and others who needed us, so we started detailing the things that our grandparents needed. From simple meal preparation to grooming and bathing, we develop skills that we thought we never had. And running errands for our grandparents was a joy to be of service to them. And the best part is we get to give them a daily hug and embrace while giving them company playing Domino and scrabble. It was the best part of learning what was new.”
It is a newly organized company run and owned by individuals with a combined 30-year experience in running agencies that cater to senior caring and services.
